The house was spacious and fit our family of eleven well. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped. Walking to the beach was safe and easy! All in all we were very pleased!- Posted: 9/10/2023
The rental was great! Loved the location and the house was well maintained. The only complaint I have is the mattress in the ground floor bed room. It wasn't comfortable and seemed very worn.- Posted: 8/1/2023
Arrived on Sunday only to have to be mandatorily evacuated on Tuesday due to Hurricane Dorian. First time at the house and we did like it while we were there. The only downside was the mosquitoes in the water pit near the road.- Posted: 7/10/2023
The house was perfect for our family. We had a issue with the wifi at first was not working but with one phone call someone was there to fix it that day. My only complaints are the vents could be taken down and cleaned, some of the shower liners replaced and maybe a broom taken to the porches to remove the spider webs before guests arrive. Wonderful week! House was really nice. Lots of space with something for everyone. Nice easy walk to beach. My family have chosen OBX for vacation for 24 years and counting. Only thing I would change is the kitchen has limited cooking pans and no containers for leftovers. Also we bought our own pool items like rafts, ect. This house comes with no beach items either. First house we have stayed at that didnt have a lot of those items. We had an issue with smoke detector and upstairs door. Sent in the fix order. We received call within a couple of minutes. The house was just as described and perfect for our family with all the kids. Spacious and inviting, location was great, pool and hot tub were nice. This was the first time in years that we have gone through a realty company instead of Airbnb or VRBO. The experience was great and we would definitely use you all again. The only issues we had were that each person only had 1 towel and 1 washcloth for the week (ended up having to purchase extras for the trip), the description said dishtowels and dishcloths...only received 1 dishtowel and a sponge...had to purchase additional of these as well, and the kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. This also caused an issue since there was no space in the cabinets for the items we took to prepare so they had to clutter up the cabinets the entire time. I'm not saying any of these things fussing and would definitely stay at the house or another one through Village Realty...just things that my family noticed and thought I should mention.
