Somerset's Lighthouse lets you step out onto the oceanfront deck and take a deep breath of ocean air as you gaze out to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! When you can watch the sunrise every day over the water and hear the surf breaking on the shore, it's easy to ignore the fact that anything else exists. With the beautiful beach only steps away you can spend your days surfing, swimming, searching for seaglass or shells or just simply relaxing. The great room with living, dining and kitchen gives everyone a place to prepare your favorite meals, dine and watch your favorite shows together.

As a Somerset's Lighthouse guest, you'll have access to the Sea Pointe community pool and tennis courts. Be sure to check out our local shops, restaurants and area attractions such as the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge and the Lost Colony outdoor drama. There is so much to see and do on the Outer Banks so make those memories at Somerset's Lighthouse!

We loved the house, especially the paint colors. We felt very relaxed and at home during our stay. The house was nicely cleaned and ready early for us. We had a very smooth check-in and check-out process. Looking forward to enjoying the house again next year!

This home, right on the beach, was absolutely amazing. The beach blue decor and artwork added a very personal and relaxing vibe to this beautiful home. We couldn't have asked for a better location and stay.

* kitchen with everything you need and then some (only needed sharp knives)
* Food Lion within walking distance
* A huge ice maker
* great showers
* comfortable furniture
* Air conditioning and fans were wonderful
* Amazing view of the ocean
* beach toys, chairs, wagon and so much more

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Outer Banks. This was a sister reunion with five sisters. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the kitchen was stocked well with pans and dishes. The walk to the beach was just perfect. We enjoyed the back porch as well as the general Living space. The small alcove off the living room was perfect for sitting and having coffee watching the sunrise and doing a puzzle. I have nothing negative to say about this and all my sisters agreed. The back porch and the walkway had recently been replaced and was very nice. Water hoses and Spicket when you come off the beach. Chairs and umbrella also available. Lovely place and would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and centrally located to all we wanted to do. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. The place was very nice and beautiful ocean view from the main floor (upper) deck. Our stay was ahead of the season so the boardwalk to the beach was piled high with sand so we needed to climb up and over to access the beach. Nonetheless it was a nice to have direct access to the beach. The unit itself was nice with beachy colors and vibe but looks a little worn in places. Nothing that would prevent us from staying here again. Overall, a 4.75.
