The house was pretty good for our needs. Our only issue was no fans in the 2 bathrooms with tubs/showers???

Perfect for our extended family vacation. Comfortable house with everything needed. Close to beach access as well as shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood was cute, quiet and peaceful.

We had a fun weekend with friends. This home accommodated 5 women and each of us had our own bed. The house is in a great location and close to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Jumbo's hideaway is a beautiful place on a nice, quiet street with woods in the back. It's only about a mile from the ocean-side beach, and from Jockey's Ridge Sound. The Jockey's Ridge sand dunes are very close by and a lot of fun. Rent your sandboards at Kitty Hawk Kites, and you can walk across the street to get to the dunes. Pea Island Seashore and Bodie Island Lighthouse are only a half hour away by car.
The house has a nice master bedroom with ensuite on the main/upper floor, and 3 other bedrooms on the lower floor with their own bathroom. The outdoor shower really helped when we came back from the beach! The kitchen is large and the living area is spacious. There's a great deck at the front that wraps around the house, and there's plenty of parking on the lower level. There were 6 of us in the house and we were pretty comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking; we only ate one meal out.
Really loved our stay and would stay here again.

My friends and I had a great time staying at Jumbo's Hideout! Although the house is on the sound side, finding beach access and parking wasn't too difficult. Great place to visit for a long weekend getaway.
