The outside features wrap-around porches, large (400') sundeck, gazebo, and beautiful landscaping. The interior features ten foot ceilings, rich wood features, and stunning decor. Two master suites, a fabulous kitchen and dining area, a relaxing sunroom, den, and recreation room provide lots of space and plenty of privacy.

Village at Nags Head Oceanfront at its finest! Stairway to Heaven has 6 bedroom and 5 ½ bath home. Other features and amenities include an outdoor hot tub, exterior elevator accessible from every deck level, pool table, picnic table, hammock, grill, outside shower, fish cleaning table, oceanfront gazebo. Guests will enjoy other convenient extras like the commercial size icemaker in the garage.

Great week to end the summer again. Even Hurricane Florence could not keep us away. Good meals, good cards, good reading, good sleep, and great ocean. We love coming here year after year! Will return in 2019.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. You have a beautiful place and it is well-kept! It was well-sized for our group – plenty of space for all of us. We loved all the nooks. Beautiful view. The only thing that could have made our trip better was if we watched the turtles hatch while we were here.

It was PERFECT WEATHER all 2 weeks! We did a ropes course at First Flight, Surf School at Outer Surf, played mini golf at Galaxy Golf, ate cookies and cream ice cream at Booty Treats. In the water we saw string rays and caught fish. We built sandcastles. This was the best house, best owner, and the best time ever. See you next year!

The weather was great! We went to Fish Heads, swimming at the beach or in the pool, ate dinner, and spent time with the family through game nights. Coming to the OBX is something we’ve wanted to do for years now. The windows and the deck had amazing views of the beach. Thank you for having showers for sandy feet. So many fun things to do! We loved staying here and cannot wait to come back. The kids loved the elevator!

Thanks for a fantastic vacation at your gorgeous beach house!! It was great to meet you Bill we first arrived. The weather was wonderful and high surf from Thursday – Saturday due to Tropical Depression Earl. We went on a crab and shrimp boat off of Wanchese and our granddaughters had a blast collecting our dinner. We even saw a sea turtle the captain rescued! It was a private charter and would highly recommend it for kids! We then cooked the crabs and shrimp for dinner! I’ve been visiting Nags Head for over 60 years and we stayed at the First Colony Inn when it was on the beach. Now I’m thrilled to bring my granddaughters here. We went to Jeannette’s Pier, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Pea Island Refuge, climbed Jockey’s Ridge, and enjoyed sandwiches on the top! We visited Blue Moon, Tortugas, Owen’s, and Miller’s

Your beach house is absolutely beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed you fantastic views, the fully furnished and stocked home and kitchen, comfortable beds, incredible decor and lighting, and the outdoor spaces. Your attention to detail in every aspect of your house made our vacation even more special.

Spoke with owner who said he is thinking about improvements. My suggestions: new ADA toilets, queen size beds that are now full. Otherwise, my family had a great week. Grounds are really nice. Great location.

We spent two consecutive weeks at Stairway to Heaven last summer with my two young children. It was pure bliss. We`ve already rebooked for two weeks next summer so given that, you can pretty much skip my review as we obviously loved it.We met the owner, Bill, upon arrival who was incredibly kind; he gave us a tour of the house, showed us how to work things, got out a baby gate for our younger one and was just a really gracious host.The Village at Nags Head is a wonderful community with a pool, and minimal vehicle traffic so it was safe for our kids to scoot around. The provided bikes (and helmets!) were so fun to ride along the bike paths. Guest services was also responsive to a small issue we had with the dryer.The house is HUGE and would be perfect for a multi-generational family. We only had 6 people there; we barely even used some rooms but it was nice knowing the space was there.We also appreciated the (very) well stocked kitchen as we cook for our entire stay. Everything was labelled and was in good condition!My husband really liked the AV setup and the fact that the owner was gracious enough to have things like Netflix, Amazon to watch TV content.Per the owner, the entire top floor will be getting a remodel.Some of the secondary bathrooms could also use a refresh as they are beginning to show their age. Due to the open ground floor rec space of the house next door, there was a lot of audible noise from our excessive and consistently drunk neighbors next door into the wee hours of the morning our second week, but that is no fault of this house/owner. We loved the ice machine, elevator, and the deck space was expansive and SO useful. This house felt more like a home, and less like a rental.
