We had a fantastic vacation at your property! The home was amazing, and the property management team was equally outstanding. While we did encounter a few minor issues, the property management agency resolved everything within 12 hours. House was unbelievable--the magnificently appointed kitchen, the space itself, all the amenities! Unreal! The little things like nightstand chargers, great books on the shelves, and the ice maker really put this place over the top. We were blessed with amazing weather the week we stayed, but, even if we had been stuck inside, we would have been thrilled with this place! Thanks so much for a great week!

Beautiful home that we were grateful to enjoy. We were very appreciative of the generous kitchen appliances , cooking ware and serving dishes. The decor was warm, inviting and comfortable. It would improve check in to have the outside decks, outdoor shower and steps blown/swept off to lessen sand tracking inside. I felt the need to clean these areas prior to use. Ashley was so responsive and accommodating as we rented this house after my father died and was holding the reservation. She was so understanding and professional.

Great house, good beds, magnificent view, Wi-Fi outside and on the beach. All great except the weather this week but it ebbs and flows after 30+ coming to Nags Head.

The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. There were 3 couples and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the magnificent view of the beach and ocean. Each couple had their own en-suite and there was plenty of room to enjoy different activities such as beach time, games, and conversation. While we did not cook dinners, the kitchen was well equipped for breakfasts and lunch. Everyone enjoyed it and said they would go back!

We all enjoyed Sunnyside and would definitely rent it again. The place was beautiful and exactly as advertised. The views were spectacular and we found it very roomy and accommodating. There were 3 couples and it was wonderful that we each had our own en-suite. The kitchen was large and well equipped. It was a smooth transition from booking to checkout.

The VIEW is always our top priority when choosing a rental. Sunnyside Up's view is AWESOME! Made even more awesome by having a crow's nest seating area. One elderly family member had concerns about navigating the stairs to the crow's nest unaided -- so we created a handrail of sorts using two of the super-sturdy bar chairs. The house was the best equipped of any we have rented. And everything was so well organized! The kitchen had every item one could imagine using for preparing, cooking, serving, and storing food and beverages. We were uncertain from the house description whether there would be a "regular" drip coffeemaker, so we brought one from home -- but there was one in the cabinet. The owners may wish to update the list of kitchen amenities to include a drip coffeemaker in addition to the Keurig -- and the new espresso machine. The one item missing from the kitchen was a dish drain for hand-washed items. All of the bathrooms could have used a bath mat (the washable kind that is essentially another towel.) Most of us sacrificed a hand towel to serve as a bath mat. I believe that the lack of bath mats is an issue for the linen company to rectify. At least one of the master baths (and possibly other bathrooms as well) was in need of a shower caddy. We brought a plastic folding table into the shower to hold wet bathing suits. Speaking of bathing suits, the hot tub was a dream! Even on the coldest day (50 degrees with wind chill in the 40's) we enjoyed soaking in the tub overlooking the ocean. I miss it already. The owners are very generous with the amount of storage space available -- including one bay of the garage. We also appreciated the heavy sherpa blankets. We were unable to raise the thermostat setting above 68 degrees. Probably should have placed a call to the Village Realty office to sort out that difficulty. I mention the few problems only because they are easily managed. We had a wonderful beach vacation, punctuated by frequent remarks about the spectacular view. We hope to stay at Sunnyside Up again one year.

Our extended family group loved Sunnyside Up. The views from the upper level living room and loft area are breathtaking. The home is well appointed with art work, decorative pillows, board games, etc. The kitchen is equipped for cooking large --even holiday--meals. It has more cutlery and dishes than our group of 10 could use. The appliances are all top end and in good working condition. The main fridge is very generously sized with ice and water dispenser, so we didn`t even use the "extra" one in the basement. The freestanding ice maker is a nice touch and enabled us to load up the extra perishables to take home. There are three coffee makers including a high end espresso maker. (A standing mixer of some sort would have been great.) Some other features that we appreciated: the quiet porches and decks; the hot tub; the outdoor kitchen; the remote control for the sun shades, the two vanities in the wrap around master bath. The furniture is comfortable and has a beachy vibe, but the white couches and chair cushions needed cleaning by this time in the season.
