This was the cleanest house we have ever stayed at with Village Realty. Nice and spacious. The elevator was a first time for us and came in really handy. Would have liked to see more of the water but the trees were blocking most of the view. Some of our guests were used to TVs so they were disappointed in the bedrooms that didn’t have them. The Mermaid's Pearl was a lovely, clean property. The owner took steps to assure that the property was well-appointed and left notes where needed to clarify use of the home. This property is marketed as Sound front, but visibility of the Sound has diminished due to the growth of vegetation.- Posted: 9/1/2023

Mermaid`s Pearl is truly a beautiful beach house that truly allows everyone to relax and enjoy their time. The amenities are endless, from the outdoor furniture to the elevator, this house has it all. We vacation each year with another family, who rents another house in Village Realty, that came over multiple nights to sit out on the deck to watch the sunset. Nine adults all had a place to sit and had plenty of additional space. The indoor furniture and beds are quite comfortable as I would find myself falling asleep after the sunset on the couch every night. Mermaids Pearl is our favorite house to stay in when visiting the Outerbanks. Located sound side, it’s peaceful and beautiful. Convenient to the Village Beach and Racquet club, beach access, restaurants and shops. House is spacious and the perfect layout. With an elevator, all family members young and old have easy access to all levels. This home is well appointed and cared for.
