Ohana was wonderful to us during our time in OBX. The furniture has been heavily updated since the photos shown here, so we were pleasantly shocked when we arrived! Lots isn’t shown in the pictures as well, like the jacuzzi in the larger bedroom, the bathrooms, ect, but they are there and they are super nice! I do think it’s important to mention that the “kids room” shown has been updated as well and now has bunk beds, the bottom a queen and the top a twin. Myself and another adult were actually going to be sleeping in those beds, so It’s a good thing I’m petite! I truly didn’t mind at all, but I do think it’s important to mention for visitors who may be larger or less abled adults anticipating a stay in that room. Only two negative things of mention; the dishwasher is VERY stubborn, so when you hit start it sounds like it’s going to… and then it doesn’t. I think on the seventh or eighth time of this pattern we were able to get it to run on two different occasions, but the morning of check out we woke up to find the dishwasher had quit and we had to speed hand wash!! The second occurrence unfortunately included the fatality of a half dozen Duck Donuts, which was tragic. Got donuts one morning to eat throughout our stay, set them on the wet bar, box closed, and hit the beach. Came back to a MILLION ants and all of their friends having the picnic of their lives on our donuts. They descended from the crease where the wall meets the ceiling, and they infested anything and everything not in the fridge for the rest of our stay. Back on the bright side, there is a very short (maybe 15 step) walk to access the pool on your left, or the beach on your right.. both were great!! Amazing surf, empty pool, such good location. I grew up visiting family in Nags Head, and Mulligans, Blue Moon (their new location is amazing) and Sooey’s are classic food musts, and cavaliers is my favorite shop in town- these were all within a 5 minute radius. To make the longest review to ever happen short, I would and will be staying here again, and I would highly recommend it to a friend (please get an exterminator lol). Lovely place, nice deck below the dune line (no ocean view here), spectacular view from upper floor. The stairs are formidable. Great location. Overall, it is a great place.- Posted: 4/29/2024
Wonderful location and home! It was perfect for a small family to go to and enjoy the OBX. Small cleaning concerns but they were quickly rectified. Close to stores and restaurants. We will definitely recommend this location to others!- Posted: 4/6/2024

We absolutely loved our stay . The location was perfect, the other guest were friendly, and it was so convenient. Having a pool, and access to the beach was a great bonus as we traveled with older and younger teens. We thought the decorations were very beachy, although I agree with others for lack of counter space. Would stay again in a heartbeat!- Posted: 7/11/2023
Great and convenient location, great view from the top floor, friendly neighbors, and the pool provides a great break from the beach if its needed, plenty of space for a family of 5.
