The Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education is a magnificent free educational center in Corolla, NC. The center is over 5,000 square feet and features many different exhibits ranging from historical artifacts to an 8,000 gallon aquarium. There is also a auditorium that features a rotation of various educational films. You’ll learn all about the ecosystem of the Outer Banks and its rich history of wildlife and outdoor sports.
They also offer various free programs they put on throughout the summer. You can learn the basics of fishing, crabbing, archery, aquarium maintenance, learn to tie a fly, discover dragonflies, create fish art, learn wildlife photography techniques, and much more!
