Several Village Realty kids are taking part in the Outer Banks Community Sailing Program on the Manteo Waterfront this week. Judging by the photos, they are having fun. This “on the water program” for youth began in 2000 with the goal of making sailing available to local children and visitors. The instruction is based on US Sailing guidelines and the coaches are experienced sailors who have years of experience sailing in different boats. This experience includes college level and private club racing.
