Livin' the Dream is situated on 3/4 of an acre, one of the largest soundfront lots in Rodanthe, and features a private beach and direct access to the water for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and crabbing. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a prime location that puts you right on the Pamlico Sound while still being less than 1,000 feet from the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. With over 6,100 square feet of living space, Livin' the Dream is perfect for multiple groups, extended families, reunions and retreats. All ten bedrooms include ensuite baths for plenty of privacy. Three levels of west-facing decks provide plenty of outdoor living space where you can take in the water views and breathtaking sunsets.

Inside, you'll find thoughtfully selected high-end finishes including marble, granite and hardwood flooring throughout. The main gathering space on the top level is designed for entertainment and spending time with loved ones, with a wall of west-facing windows showcasing the panoramic sound views. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream, with a large center island for plenty of prep space that looks out over the open-concept great room for socializing and admire the view while cooking. Two refrigerators will easily store everyone's provisions, and two dishwashers make cleaning up for large groups a breeze.

The good times continue downstairs in the rec space where you can show off your skills on the billiard table. For more laid-back entertainment, watch a movie or the big game in the theater room with recliner seating. A wet bar and full-size fridge in the rec room is perfect for grabbing a beverage while shooting pool or refilling your concessions during movie night. Livin' the Dream is equipped with an elevator, ideal for guests with mobility needs. Skip the stairs and use it to send luggage and groceries to the upper levels. Guests who need to stay caught up with work or school remotely can use the designated office on the third level. Outside, the fabulous soundfront backyard features a refreshing private pool, bubbly hot tub and plenty of space for lounging in the sun. The pool can be heated certain times of the year, perfect for Spring and Fall getaways. Parking won't be an issue, with three carports that provide covered parking for six vehicles, along with four additional parking spaces in the driveway.

When it's time to hit the beach, take a quick stroll to the Corbina Drive public access. The quaint village of Rodanthe offers a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. Take a trip back in time at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Museum or reel in the catch of the day from the Hatteras Island Fishing Pier.

Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.
