On the other side of the island guests can access the sound via the Haulover Day Use Area, also known as Canadian Hole because of its ideal conditions for windsurfing and kiteboarding. But you don't have to be a watersports pro to enjoy this little soundside beach. It's a great place for families to swim, paddleboard and launch kayaks.
